Description
The FAB-837AX is a next-generation AX3000 XPON Optical Network Unit (ONU) developed for high-performance FTTH networks. Supporting both GPON and EPON technologies with automatic mode detection, it enables service providers to deploy a single ONU platform across multiple network infrastructures without changing hardware or firmware. Engineered by Fibramérica, it integrates four Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 2.0 connectivity, and high-speed Wi-Fi 6 into a compact and energy-efficient solution.
Designed to meet the growing bandwidth demands of residential and business subscribers, the FAB-837AX combines Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing with Hardware NAT, VLAN management, QoS, firewall protection, IPv4/IPv6 support, and TR-069 remote management. These advanced networking capabilities simplify provisioning while providing operators with efficient remote administration and service flexibility.
Its dual-band AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 platform delivers wireless speeds of up to 576 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2400 Mbps on 5 GHz, utilizing 160 MHz channels and external high-gain antennas for enhanced coverage and capacity. Multiple SSIDs allow network segmentation for guest, residential, or business environments, making the device suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications including UHD streaming, cloud services, gaming, and smart home connectivity.
The FAB-837AX is compatible with most mainstream OLT vendors, including Huawei, ZTE, FiberHome and BT-PON, providing seamless interoperability for FTTH operators.
