Description
The FAB-MPO-HYDRA is a plug-and-play fiber optic harness designed to interconnect MTP/MPO backbone trunks with LC/SC connectors at the equipment side, typically inside modular cassettes. Featuring a 12/24-core MTP/MPO connector on one end and fanout LC or SC connectors on the other, this assembly simplifies connections to switches, transceivers, and patch panels.
Ideal for high-density structured cabling environments, the Hydra cable improves installation time by eliminating splicing and reducing cable congestion. Each cable is customized in length to match module depth, making it easy to manage and route within racks or ODFs.
The MPO male connector comes pre-installed with guide pins for cassette alignment, while the LC/SC side connects directly to the front panel of the module. Built with OM3, OM4, OM5 or G.657A1 fibers, the assembly ensures low insertion loss, excellent mechanical performance, and full compliance with international standards.
