Description
Fibramérica’s 12-core ADSS fiber optic cable is purpose-built for aerial installations over 120-meter spans, ensuring stability and signal integrity in challenging outdoor environments. Its self-supporting, fully dielectric structure eliminates the need for metallic components or external support wires, making it ideal for deployments between poles and towers.
Equipped with single-mode G.652D optical fibers, this cable offers low attenuation and excellent dispersion characteristics, critical for high-performance long-distance transmission. The central FRP strength member and loose tube design with hydrophobic gel ensure both mechanical strength and moisture resistance.
Encased in a rugged MDPE or HDPE sheath, and reinforced with aramid yarn, this cable is engineered to resist UV radiation, environmental wear, and installation stress. Its stranded configuration maximizes flexibility while maintaining the durability required for suspended aerial lines.
