The FAB-TBS8510-Pro is a powerful 1U rackmount video transcoder designed for professional IPTV, broadcast, and OTT streaming environments. Equipped with an industrial-grade Intel® CPU and upgraded 4×1Gbps LAN interfaces, it ensures high-speed data handling and efficient video processing for high-density network operations.
Available in two versions, Version 1 includes support for TBS DVB/ATSC/ISDB-T tuner cards and HDMI inputs, handling up to 35 HD or 70–90 SD streams. Version 2, optimized for IP stream inputs, can process up to 45 HD or 90–110 SD channels. Both models feature advanced H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC video compression, with support for MPEG-2 remuxing, making them ideal for bandwidth-sensitive video delivery.
This encoder/transcoder supports flexible input types, including DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, ATSC, ISDBT, HDMI, ASI, and a wide range of IP stream protocols such as UDP, RTP, HTTP, RTSP, and HLS.
