Description

Fibramérica’s 5mm Preconnectorized Optical Fiber Cable redefines speed, safety, and flexibility in fiber deployments. Designed for the most demanding FTTx and FTTH network environments, this factory-terminated round cable integrates SC/APC connectors on one or both ends, allowing for plug-and-play installation without opening terminal boxes or requiring splicing.

Its robust structure includes a UV-resistant HDPE outer jacket, thermally stable dielectric materials, and an internal gel barrier for moisture resistance—making it perfect for aerial, conduit, or duct applications. Internally, aramid yarn and FRP rods provide superior tensile and crush resistance while maintaining lightweight flexibility.

This cable is available in G657A1 or G657A2 fiber configurations, providing outstanding bend tolerance and signal integrity. With length options up to 80 meters, it supports quick activation, easy network upgrades, and reduced operational costs.

Eco-conscious and safety-compliant, the inner LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) layer ensures performance both indoors and outdoors, while reinforced SC/APC connectors ensure stability and optimal optical return loss under harsh conditions.
