Description

The BIDI SFP Transceivers from Fibramérica are designed to provide high-quality, bi-directional optical communication over a single fiber, reducing infrastructure complexity and cost. These compact and hot-pluggable modules convert electrical signals to optical and vice versa, supporting data rates from 155 Mbps up to 4.25 Gbps.

With transmission distances ranging from 2 km to an impressive 120 km, the BIDI SFP series is ideal for a variety of networking environments including Fast Ethernet, SONET/SDH, xWDM, and fiber channel links. Their design follows the industry-standard SFP MSA and SFF-8472, ensuring broad compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment.

Each transceiver supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), providing real-time monitoring of parameters like temperature, voltage, and optical power. Available in both standard (070°C) and industrial (-4085°C) temperature ranges, these modules offer robust performance in various environments.
