Description

The FAB-OFC-BDM-C5S24-ZZ is a dome-type mechanical sealing fiber optic splice closure designed for high-performance FTTx, backbone, and distribution networks. Made of high-strength polypropylene (PP), it offers excellent resistance to environmental stress, UV radiation, and physical impacts. With an IP68 protection rating and IK10 impact resistance, it is suitable for aerial, wall-mounted, pole-mounted, and underground installations.

This closure features four round ports and one oval port specially designed for uncut express cables. Its mechanical sealing system uses a reusable silicone gasket combined with pressure-sealed plastic nuts and a circular hoop, eliminating the need for electrical tools and enabling easy re-entry. It supports up to 144 fiber splices across six trays, with optional integration of mini PLC splitters (1:8 or 1:16) for efficient fiber distribution.

Internally, the design ensures optimal cable management with dedicated areas for buffer storage, non-lit fiber storage, and central strength member fixation. It maintains fiber bend radii above 30 mm and includes stainless steel anti-corrosion components, cable fasteners, and guiding structures for efficient fiber routing between trays.
