Description

The FAB‑HGT‑8KX Fiber Splitter Box from Fibramérica is a compact and high-capacity enclosure tailored for next-generation fiber networks. Engineered for wall-mounted or pole-mounted installations, it provides a secure housing for fiber splicing and passive splitter deployment, supporting both FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and FTTB (Fiber to the Building) applications.

Constructed from durable PP+GF (polypropylene + glass fiber), the box ensures long-term resistance to environmental elements. It is rated IP65, offering solid protection against water and dust. Internally, it integrates a splice cassette and cable management system to maintain organized routing and minimize bending stress, ensuring a fiber bend radius of more than 40mm.

The box supports both fusion and mechanical splicing and includes one 1×8 PLC splitter for efficient signal distribution. With up to 48 splicing cores, two input ports for feeder cables (Ø12–19mm), and up to eight Mini SC output ports, it adapts easily to various FTTH layout requirements. The enclosure also accommodates an additional port for flexibility in cable configurations.
