Description

The FAB-SC-01 Series Field Assembly Fast Connector by Fibramérica is designed to simplify and accelerate fiber terminations in the field without sacrificing performance. It comes pre-assembled with a pre-polished ferrule and a pre-embedded fiber, allowing technicians to simply strip, cleave, clean, and insert the prepared fiber for a fast and accurate connection using index-matching gel.

Its push-tight structure ensures high-precision alignment and stable optical performance, with insertion losses of ≤0.25 dB for UPC and ≤0.3 dB for APC connectors. The integral structure offers high stability and low cost, ideal for high-volume FTTH deployments and maintenance operations.

With its compact size and screw-type tail design, this connector provides excellent tensile strength (>40N/2min), durability across over 500 mating cycles, and ease of use in space-constrained installations. It is compatible with standard 2x3mm FTTH drop cables and supports both UPC and APC configurations.
