The FAB-SC-02 Series Field Assembly Optical Connector by Fibramérica offers a professional, high-performance solution for on-site fiber terminations. It comes with a pre-polished and pre-embedded fiber in the ferrule, minimizing installation steps and ensuring superior optical alignment for efficient field deployment.

This connector features a robust push-tight mechanical structure that guarantees stable fiber positioning and high reliability. With a compact and screw-type tail design, it is optimized for installations in limited space environments and provides exceptional tensile strength (>40N/2min), ensuring durability under demanding conditions.

Engineered for quick assembly, it requires only simple fiber preparation—strip, cleave, clean, and insert—before connecting to the embedded fiber using index-matching gel. It delivers excellent optical performance with low insertion loss (≤0.25 dB for UPC, ≤0.3 dB for APC) and high return loss (≥50 dB UPC, ≥55 dB APC).

Compatible with standard 2x3mm FTTH drop cables, this field connector is ideal for FTTH networks, telecom maintenance, LAN terminations, and patch panel applications, offering high repeatability, reusability, and long-term value.
