Description
The FAB-MPO16-PC is a high-performance MPO-16 fiber optic patch cord designed for next-generation data centers and high-speed backbone networks. It uses a 16-fiber MPO connector in either male or female versions, supporting both single-mode (G.657A1) and multimode (OM1 to OM5) fibers, and is compatible with 40GBASE-SR4, 100G-SR10, and parallel optic applications.
Built with precision geometry and quality-assured polishing, the MPO-16 connector meets or exceeds IEC and TIA/EIA standards, offering low insertion loss (≤0.70 dB) and high return loss (≥60 dB for SM). Each assembly undergoes interferometric testing, visual inspection, and IL/RL measurements to ensure compliance with the highest industry standards.
With a compact form factor and 16-core structure, this patch cord supports high-density cabling in modular environments, including spine-leaf architectures, ODF interconnections, and short-range multimode deployments. LSZH, OFNR, and OFNP jacket types are available depending on environmental requirements.
