Description
The PROBOX68-16PRE is a preconnectorized fiber optic distribution box designed for fast, safe and reliable deployments in FTTX networks. With its robust IP68-rated enclosure, this model ensures full protection against water, dust and harsh outdoor conditions.
This unit is equipped with 16 pre-connected SC/APC adapters and supports a variety of installation methods, including wall-mounted, pole-mounted and aerial installations. Its compact structure and internal routing make it easy to operate and manage.
Manufactured with high-quality PP or PC+ABS material, it is resistant to aging and UV radiation. It includes 1 oval cable entry, 2 branch cable entries, and an optional storage tray that holds up to 50 meters of 5 mm drop cable.
The PROBOX68-16PRE supports two types of splice trays: Type A for up to 12 cores and Type B for up to 8 cores. It complies with international standards including ITU-T G.652 and IEC 60794, and offers low insertion loss (≤ 0.3 dB) and high return loss (≥ 55 dB), ensuring optimal network performance.
Tested under extreme temperatures and humidity (from -40 ºC to +65 ºC), this model is ideal for outdoor telecom infrastructures where reliability and flexibility are critical.
