Description
The Rack Mounted Type PLC Splitter from Fibramérica is an advanced optical distribution solution engineered for high-performance fiber networks. Housed in a compact 1U or 2U rack-mountable casing, it offers flexible deployment in ODFs, data centers, and telecom environments with minimal spatial footprint.
This splitter ensures low insertion loss, minimal polarization-dependent loss (PDL), and exceptional channel uniformity, making it highly reliable for high-density passive optical network (PON) applications. Designed to support both 1×N and 2×N configurations, it meets the diverse needs of FTTx, CATV, and optical access networks.
The unit is built using SMF-28e fiber with 2mm ruggedized cable, offering robustness in both indoor and controlled environments. It supports operation across a wide wavelength range (1260–1650 nm) and temperature range (-20°C to 65°C), with storage down to -40°C. All models are qualified under Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 standards.
