Description
The FAB-MTP-RUG is a ruggedized fiber optic assembly designed for outdoor deployments in harsh environments such as FTTA, FTTH, and surveillance systems. Built with robust materials and armored components, it combines a high-performance MPO/MTP connector on one end with LC, SC, ST, or FC connectors on the other, protected by IP68-rated rubber-coated boots and screw-type metal locking caps.
Its outer sheath is made from TPU or PE, providing superior resistance against UV, abrasion, oil, and water ingress. The armored structure allows the cable to withstand over 10 kgf tensile stress and ensures stable data transmission at 1 Gbps or higher rates, even in extreme outdoor conditions.
This ruggedized assembly supports both single-mode and multimode fibers (OM3, OM4, OM5, G.657A1), with each connector factory-polished and fully tested for insertion loss, return loss, and geometry compliance. Compact and flexible, it enables fast deployment in macro cell towers, outdoor ODFs, antennas, or terminal boxes, eliminating the need for on-site splicing.
