Stranded Loose Tube Armored Cable | FAB-GYTA/S

The FAB-GYTA/S is a high-performance outdoor armored fiber optic cable designed for duct and aerial deployments in challenging environments. It features 250 µm fibers housed in hydrolysis-resistant loose tubes made from high-modulus plastic, ensuring durability and mechanical strength over time.

A central steel wire, sometimes sheathed in polyethylene for high fiber count configurations, serves as the metallic strength member. The tubes, along with fillers, are stranded around this core to form a compact structure. The entire core is filled with a water-blocking compound and wrapped in an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) for superior moisture resistance and mechanical protection.

A black polyethylene (PE) outer sheath enhances resistance against UV radiation, temperature changes, and external mechanical impacts. The cable structure includes multiple water-blocking measures such as 100% core filling, loose tube gel, and APL barrier, which make it exceptionally suitable for long-distance and high-reliability installations.

Certified to YD/T 901-2009 and IEC 60794-1 standards, this armored cable is ideal for telecom networks, ISP backbones, and FTTH outdoor infrastructures requiring rugged and secure fiber connectivity.
