Description
The FAB-GJA is a robust waterproof pigtail cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, especially where a protected connection is needed between environments. Each subunit is a simplex cable consisting of a Ø900 µm tight-buffered fiber surrounded by aramid yarn for strength and reliability during handling and installation.
At the core lies a non-metallic Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) strength member, around which the subunits are stranded. This structure provides excellent mechanical stability and flexibility. The cable's core is wrapped with an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) for effective moisture blocking and added durability. A black polyethylene (PE) outer sheath ensures protection from UV radiation, corrosion, and water ingress.
Engineered for environments requiring secure optical cable distribution between indoor and outdoor zones, the FAB-GJA complies with standards such as IEC 60794 and YD/T 1258.4-2005.
