The FAB-TM301 Optical Fiber Identifier from Fibramérica is designed for precise, non-destructive fiber identification in both single-mode (SM) and multi-mode (MM) fiber networks. It allows telecom professionals to detect signal presence and direction at any point along a fiber without disrupting service.
This lightweight and portable tool integrates a built-in Visual Fault Locator (VFL), providing fault detection capabilities alongside fiber recognition. Its digital LED screen shows signal direction and strength, supporting CW and modulated signals (270Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz) across a wavelength range of 800–1700 nm.
With a one-touch operation design and multiple interchangeable adapters for 0.25, 0.9, 2.0, and 3.0mm fibers, the FAB-TM301 offers convenience and versatility for field operations. The unit also includes LED direction indicators and minimal insertion loss, making it ideal for real-time diagnostics.
