Description
The FAB-OFC-BDH-C5 is a high-capacity dome-type fiber optic splice closure designed to meet the growing demand for dense, reliable, and protected fiber terminations in FTTx networks. Engineered with a heat-shrinkable sealing system and robust construction, it ensures excellent environmental protection for uncut fiber cables in a wide variety of installation scenarios.
Capable of accommodating up to 288 fibers in bunchy or 432 fibers in ribbon configuration, this model includes six internal splice trays and supports up to 12 trays for future scalability. Each tray supports single or dual-layer splicing, offering flexible fiber management for high-density deployment.
The five-port design (4×22mm, 1×35mm) supports various cable sizes, and the dome body made of high-strength PC plastic ensures impact resistance, UV stability, and long-term performance. Thermoplastic rubber sealing provides a waterproof and dust-tight seal, while installation options include aerial, underground, wall-mounted, pipelined, or manhole settings.
