Description
The FAB-OFC-BDM-A4 is a dome-type fiber optic splice closure with mechanical sealing, designed to simplify field installations while maintaining high protection standards for fiber networks. Ideal for uncut cable applications, this closure supports up to 96 fibers in bunchy configuration and 288 fibers in ribbon format.
This model includes four 17mm cable ports and features four splice trays that accommodate single and dual-layer splicing, as well as ribbon fusion. Its body is made of high-strength polycarbonate (PC), combined with thermoplastic rubber sealing components, ensuring performance in harsh outdoor environments.
Unlike heat-shrink systems, mechanical sealing allows for quick re-entry and reusability without the need for special tools or heat sources, making the FAB-OFC-BDM-A4 particularly suitable for deployments requiring maintenance flexibility.
