The FAB-MPO-LB is a fiber loopback module designed for verifying the transmitting and receiving integrity of MPO/MTP-based fiber networks. It is widely used in testing environments to simulate live optical connections for diagnostics, burn-in tests, and system verification during deployment or troubleshooting.
Supporting multiple core configurations — including 4, 8, 12, 16, and 24 cores — the loopback module is available in single-mode (SM) or multimode (MM) with standard or elite connector polish. It complies with MPO/MTP male or female polarity, including PIN alignment testing to ensure compatibility with active equipment or structured cabling.
The device offers low insertion loss and high repeatability over multiple cycles, with customizable labeling and fiber array layouts. It is a crucial tool for QSFP+/QSFP-DD/OSFP transceivers, optical switches, and data center validation workflows.
