The 5G Telecom Test PDA is an all-in-one portable platform designed for installation, diagnostics, operation and maintenance of telecommunications access networks. It consolidates optical, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 5G and IP connectivity testing into a single field device, helping technicians identify whether service issues originate from the fiber link, ONU, Ethernet network, wireless environment or external connectivity. This integrated approach makes it particularly suitable for FTTH deployment, subscriber activation and field troubleshooting.

Built on Android 13, the platform combines 5G Sub-6 cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 IEEE 802.11ax with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2 and two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports. The datasheet specifies wired speed testing up to 2400 Mbps and wireless testing above 1800 Mbps, supported by Wi-Fi channel widths up to 160 MHz. A Qualcomm QCM4490 8-core 2.4 GHz processor, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage provide the hardware platform for its integrated telecom testing applications.

For fiber-optic field work, the unit integrates an Optical Power Meter (OPM) supporting 1270, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625 nm wavelengths, with 1577 nm indicated as optional. A 650 nm, 10 mW Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is also specified. An optional 1310/1550 nm OTDR extends the platform to fiber-event, loss and distance analysis, reducing the number of independent test instruments technicians need to carry during field interventions.

Integrated applications include OTDR, OPM, VFL, Ping, Traceroute, ONU configuration, automatic checking, terminal checking, IfConfig, Speedtest and IPTV testing.
