FIBRAMERICA's 10G CWDM XFP transceivers are high-performance optical modules designed for high-speed data transmission over long distances. These transceivers are integral in converting electrical signals into optical signals and vice versa, enabling seamless communication in fiber optic networks.
Built on the XFP MSA standard, these modules support 10Gbps data rates across distances up to 80 kilometers, making them ideal for enterprise backbones, data centers, metropolitan area networks (MANs), and telecom infrastructures. They feature uncooled 18-wavelength CWDM DFB/cooled EML lasers ranging from 1270 nm to 1610 nm, ensuring compatibility with existing CWDM systems.
Designed for flexibility, they can operate in both single-fiber and dual-fiber CWDM systems and support 10G Ethernet, 10G Fibre Channel, and SONET/SDH applications. The use of a duplex LC interface and compliance with SFF-8472 digital diagnostics enhances their usability and monitoring capabilities.
