Description
FIBRAMERICA's 10G XENPAK transceivers are legacy optical modules designed in accordance with the XENPAK MSA, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over fiber optic networks. These hot-pluggable modules enable reliable high-speed connectivity by converting electrical signals to optical signals and vice versa.
With a 70-pin connector and XAUI interface (4 x 3.125 Gb/s), XENPAK modules provide robust data transmission across various fiber types and distances up to 80 km. The transceivers support multimode and single-mode fiber, operating on 850 nm, 1310 nm, 1550 nm wavelengths, as well as CWDM and DWDM.
Designed for compatibility with Ethernet switches, IP routers, and DWDM/CWDM infrastructures, they include digital diagnostics monitoring via MDIO for real-time performance insights. Their low power design and multiple power supply options (+5.0V, +3.3V, APS:+1.2V) make them suitable for existing XENPAK-based systems.
These modules are ideal for upgrading legacy network equipment or extending optical reach in data centers and metro networks.
