Description

The FAB-OFC-F8 is a versatile and rugged fiber optic splice closure developed by Fibramérica to protect and organize fiber joints in various deployment scenarios. Whether installed in aerial settings, manholes, direct buried environments, or ducted networks, this closure ensures reliable and flexible fiber management for high-performance optical networks.

Its compact size conceals a large internal capacity, supporting up to 3 splice trays with a total splicing capacity of 72 fibers (24 fibers per tray). Each splice tray is independently hinged, allowing easy access without disturbing other trays, and excess fibers can be neatly stored in integrated storage baskets.

Manufactured from modified PP with glass fiber and UV stabilizers, the closure is resistant to aging, corrosion, and harsh environments. Its fully mechanical seal with O-rings and rubber gaskets simplifies installation, enabling easy reentry without the need for adhesive tapes. Designed to accommodate a 1×8 PLC splitter and up to 8 adapters, this unit is also compatible with a wide range of cable types and construction formats.
