Description

The LOT-5100 Series OTDR is a versatile, multi-functional test platform that integrates an OTDR, Optical Power Meter, stabilized Laser Source, and Visual Fault Locator, with the option to add a fiber microscope for comprehensive inspection and testing. Designed for ease of use in the field, it features a 5.6-inch TFT touch screen, intuitive icon-based fiber mapping, and both auto and manual test modes for quick and precise measurements.

This OTDR supports multiple wavelengths, including singlemode, multimode, and specialty fiber ranges, with short event dead zones (1 m) and high dynamic ranges up to 40/38 dB, enabling accurate detection of connectors, splices, splitters, macro bends, and fiber ends. It can perform in-line measurements of PON systems through splitters and store results in GR-196-CORE (.SOR) format for easy analysis and reporting.

The LOT-5100 platform is rugged, lightweight (1.1 kg), and built for over 8 hours of continuous operation. It includes a stabilized laser source matching the OTDR wavelength, a high-precision optical power meter with multi-wavelength calibration, and a 10 mW VFL for quick fault location. The optional LFM fiber microscope offers 400x magnification for connector inspection.

With USB connectivity, 16 GB of storage, multi-trace analysis software, and batch reporting capabilities, the LOT-5100 is an all-in-one fiber testing solution for telecom operators, contractors, and network maintenance teams.
