Description

The LOT5200 Series OTDR is a versatile, high-performance fiber testing platform designed to help technicians perform accurate measurements with minimal complexity. Combining multiple essential test functions in a single compact unit, the LOT5200 integrates an OTDR, Optical Power Meter, Stabilized Laser Source, Visual Fault Locator, Loss Tester, Event Map, and optional fiber inspection module. This multi-tool approach enables technicians to evaluate optical fiber links efficiently during installation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.

Built around a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and an intuitive interface, the LOT5200 provides a smooth user experience even in demanding field conditions. Its lightweight 1.1–1.2 kg design, long battery life, and rugged housing—resistant to dust, shock, and moisture—make it suitable for daily field operations. Short dead zones (1 m event and 5 m attenuation) enable accurate detection of near-end events, while a wide selection of wavelengths and model configurations ensures compatibility with FTTH, PON, backbone, and multimode networks.

The embedded analysis tools support automatic and manual testing, multi-curve comparison, event return loss measurement, splice and connector detection, and in-line PON testing through splitters. Test results can be saved, exported through USB or SD card, and processed with PC software capable of multi-trace comparison, bidirectional analysis, and batch reporting.

With model options offering dynamic ranges from 22 dB to 45 dB and wavelength combinations spanning 850/1300 nm, 1310/1490/1550 nm, and 1625 nm, the LOT5200 Series can be tailored to specific operational needs—from multimode LAN verification to advanced PON diagnostics. Every unit is supplied with essential accessories and calibration documentation, ensuring readiness for immediate field deployment.
