The FAB-HGT-8DY series from Fibramérica represents the next evolution in pre-connectorized optical distribution enclosures. Engineered for high-density FTTX deployments, it offers efficient fiber splicing, secure connection management, and rapid installation in FTTH and FTTA environments, even under extreme conditions.
Constructed with a modified PP plastic housing and PC+ABS internal components, this enclosure is IP68-rated, offering full protection against water, dust, and environmental wear. Designed for wall, pole, or aerial mounting, the box adapts seamlessly to urban, industrial, and remote telecom installations. The robust design uses removable covers secured with stainless steel screws for easy access and maintenance.
The FAB-HGT-8DY supports multiple configurations: up to 10 pre-connectorized SC/APC adapters and integration of 1×2 FTB + 1×8 PLC splitters or a standalone 1×8 PLC splitter—delivering flexibility to meet various network topologies. The model’s rugged structure and compatibility with harsh environments make it a preferred solution for engineers building long-lasting, high-performance fiber networks.
