The FAB-FDT-288 is a robust outdoor fiber distribution cabinet designed to centralize, protect, and manage optical cable connections in FTTH and telecom networks. Made of high-strength SMC plastic, this weather-resistant enclosure supports splicing, distribution, and splitter integration in a compact and durable format.
The cabinet’s layout is thoughtfully divided into zones for optical splitting (OSF), fiber fusion, pigtail storage, and cable fixation. It accommodates up to 9 splitter trays for 1×32 or 2×32 PLC splitters and 4 fusion blocks, each with 6 slide-out trays supporting 24 fiber splices—totaling a fusion capacity of 576 fibers. All trays use interchangeable rail systems for flexible management.
It provides 34 LC (17 SC) output ports, a secure grounding system with high insulation and voltage endurance, and 18 positions for fixing cables. The door opens over 90° for easy front access, and pedestal mounting is supported for stability in outdoor deployments. Included are pre-installed feeder and distribution cables: one 12FO feeder (30m) and two 144FO distribution cables (30m each).
