The FAB-HGT-6B from Fibramérica is a compact preconnectorized FTTH box designed to deliver efficient fiber splicing and distribution for modern FTTX networks. Ideal for confined spaces, this enclosure supports 6 SC/APC ports and accommodates up to 12 fusion splices, making it a practical solution for residential and small-scale commercial deployments.
Made from high-resistance PP or PC+ABS, the FAB-HGT-6B features an IP65-rated design that offers reliable protection against water and dust ingress. It is suitable for wall, pole, or aerial mounting, providing flexibility for indoor and outdoor environments.
Internally, the box integrates a cable routing system that maintains a bend radius greater than 40 mm, and ensures optimal optical performance with insertion loss ≤0.2 dB and high return losses (≥50 dB UPC, ≥60 dB APC). With a tested mechanical lifespan of over 1,000 connection cycles, the FAB-HGT-6B provides long-term stability and easy field maintenance.
Its lightweight construction (0.3 kg) and dimensions (198 × 168 × 78 mm) make it ideal for installations where space is at a premium but reliability and quality cannot be compromised.
