The FAB-OFC-BDM-E4 is a dome-type fiber optic splice closure featuring a mechanical sealing system designed for quick installation and easy re-entry without specialized tools. It provides reliable protection for fiber splicing in both aerial and underground deployments.
This closure supports up to 96 fibers in bunchy configuration and 144 fibers in ribbon format, distributed across four splice trays. Each tray accommodates single-layer, dual-layer, or ribbon splicing, ensuring flexibility for different fiber network designs.
Built from durable polycarbonate (PC) and sealed with thermoplastic rubber, the FAB-OFC-BDM-E4 guarantees protection against moisture, dust, and mechanical stress, operating effectively in extreme environments ranging from -40°C to +65°C.
Its four cable ports (17mm each) and compact design make it suitable for FTTx projects where reliability, space optimization, and reusability are required. This model is a practical and versatile solution for service providers looking for robust and easily maintainable network components.
